***NEW OWNERSHIP NOTICE***

Our family business, Springwater, a successful business since 1964, has finally been sold (June 2022). This business, started by Joe and Mildred Michaud 58 years ago, has been a destination for many generations for fabulous home cooked meals, truck stops, fuel and gas, Joe’s popular towing services, camping, waterslides/pool and an all around great family owned place to visit. Joe and Mildred’s kids (Nancy, Verna, Danny and Ronny) all helped with the business as well as their children.

Due to the highway changes and long years in the business, the restaurant and service station eventually closed its doors and the business became a campground only destination.
Everyone who knew Joe and Mildred had nothing but good things to say about their devotion to their clients and positive experience doing business with them.
Unfortunately, Joe passed away last year, which left a significant impact on the family, the clients and the business. With Mildred still operating the campground without her loving husband of 66 years of marriage, it was time to step away after 58 years of ownership.
Mildred would like to thank all of her clients that have come through the restaurant, garage and campground doors, without your support it would not have been possible to operate one of the longest running businesses in the area. Mildred will finally take some well deserved rest and family time.
Throughout the years, we had some loyal and honest employees (Family included) that worked hard to give the best service for our customers, to those employees, thank you for helping us make the business a success.

The family would like to wish Chris (New owner) the best of luck in continuing with this well established business, with the new renovations currently underway with the pool and waterslides, more exciting plans will be in the future!
